Has Been Selected as a 2004 "Great Golf School" Amongst 25 Schools

Voted by Golf Magazine

"A rising star amongst golf schools" - June 2003 Issue
Top 25 Golf Schools Feature.

"An individual's body is unique, no two are the same...in the same way good doctors treat each patient individually, so too must a good instructor...there is a model golf swing, but few golfers repeatedly achieve this swing...each person's swing is determined by that individual's physical ability, in particular by flexibility - and most importantly, by their self belief, by their POSITIVE attitude!

A good instructor will recognize a golfer's limitations, and work toward achieving the best possible result for the person standing before him. So, seeing the bottle half-full is a big plus!"

Jason Denaro
Director of instruction

Author of, "MINDPOWER...master the counter-intuitive golf swing, and play out of your mind."

Founder of America's Mind Power Golf Schools, established in 1996.

Application of the mined game, how to think, when to think it, and most importantly - when NOT to think!
Past achievements: Master Teaching Professional, United States Golf Teacher's Federation. Professional Clubmakers Federation, (PCA) and Golf Clubmakers Association. (PCF) 2009 lifelong inductee into the United States National Professional Golf Instructor's Association. (USNPGIA)

Philosophy:
"WHAT THE MIND CAN CONCEIVE...THE BODY CAN ACHIEVE." How you think, ultimately contributes to the end result!

Drop the Shoulder

"FACE DOWN THROUGH IMPACT!"

The very important shoulder tilt angle through impact, is always between 60 and 80 degrees as demonstrated in this swing position. We do have alternative swing moves for golfers who are physically unable to achieve this position.

OPTIMIZED GOLF

We utilize positive reinforcement to produce the very best golfer you are mentally and physically capable of becoming.

We base our teaching on positive reinforcement, and touch teaching. Make no mistake, this is very different to your regular "cookie cutter" golf instruction. This is "model implanting" and "mimicry"...the fastest, most amazing way to quickly ingrain YOUR most productive swing moves.

This is NOT learning to hit at the ball...this is discovering how to fly the ball STRAIGHT at the target using a choreographed sequence of body positions, in tandem with the most appropriate swing thoughts. It is most important that two and three day schools are sequential days, We do not split schools into spread days.

Please feel welcome to contact any of our former students through the testimonial pages and ask how their golf games have improved.

LIKE NO OTHER "SCHOOL" !

Our classes begin at 11 a.m. on days one and two, and at 10 a.m. on day three, when we meet at Reidy Creek, for a great playing round. It is in the absolute best interest of Mind Power Golf School that each student upholds the highest level of playing ability, we don't want you out there not looking great, so if you have any issues during your school, please allow us the opportunity to review your swing, and make the appropriate adjustments prior to the conclusion of your time with us. We don't mind putting in extra time. Schools conclude after 4 hours work, not before 3 p.m, often it's later, we stay until you've got it right...or drop trying...but you WILL get it right. We often stay back and play some nearest the pin challenges with our lob wedges...great fun to unwind, bouncing them off the flag stick. Skeptical? Nah...don't be..it's really easy, once we show you how.

Let us tour grind that heel off of your lob wedge...then you'll REALLY see some great flop shots. You don't really think those guys on tour have lob wedges with a big clunky heel on them, do you? They don't play a wedge off the rack. They're all special tour grinds. We'll tour grind that your 60 degree wedge, no charge, because we want you to excel with your new short game, and the correct sixty degree lob wedge is a must.

Read our genuine testimonials, even call past students, and ask their opinions. Our testimonials give full names and contact information, not just initials and a State. Food for thought, don't you think?

The swing below shows the extension of the club toward the target. Take note of the head position and the tilt of the shoulders. There's no need to look up, the ball has gone exactly where the club is pointing! Note that the upper left arm stays relatively connected to the body, through the parallel extension of the club toward the target. This prevents a flying left elbow, or 'chicken wing elbow.' By maintaining this upper front arm connection, the front arm (left arm for a right handed player) becomes an effective bracket, thus helping to keep the club extended directed toward the target. If you are self disciplined, and can break the habit of looking up as soon as you hit at the ball, we will get you into this swing position within two hours of beginning day one. Keeping your flight down the center of the fairway quickly becomes far easier. However, if you are skeptical, and lack self discipline, well then, you'll quite possibly get to use all areas of the golf course.

Golf Swing

Note how the extension of the club is parallel to the feet alignment...very important! This won't be your final finishing position, but this is a position that EVERY tour player absolutely transitions through en route to the fully finished position
